This is where we do our thing. Whether it is your idea or you are inspired by something you have seen we can help you realize your dream ring. We begin by hand sketching your ideas on paper. You can bring in images or we can come up with a design in our studio. As we go through this process your design comes to life in the form of an inspired piece that is unique to your story.

We can find the perfect gemstone or you can bring in yours to design around it.

Everything we make is hand-crafted in our studio and every diamond and gemstone is hand-selected by us using world sources. Your engagement ring design begins with choosing the perfect center stone. Finding the right size, cut and shape of your stone helps and inspires us to determine the rest of your design. With two graduate gemologists on staff (meet Chris and Villi), we can source and help you select the perfect diamond or gemstone for your engagement ring.

BRING IN YOUR OWN DIAMOND OR GEMSTONE HEIRLOOM FOR A RESTYLE

Our expert craftsmen/women have been working with heirlooms for decades. So, if you have a gemstone or diamond that you'd like to use you can trust that we will treat it with the utmost care and create a design that honors your family's story. We begin with your stone and guide you through the steps on which setting will be appropriate for that particular cut and shape. Our expert gemologists can even provide a new appraisal for your stone.

Making Your Engagement Ring, the Final Step

Once we have your custom engagement ring planned, we make a model by hand carving it or by making a CAD (computer aided drawing) and 3D printing the model. We work with you at this point to fine-tune and ensure that we are heading in the right direction with your engagement ring design.

With a model in hand we can show you "the wax" for your approval, or go directly to casting. We use the Lost Wax Casting technique to transform the wax model into the metal form of the ring. This again lets us go from wax to metal in an exact transformation. Now the ring is in metal, we usually do a fitting to be sure the ring is perfect before we set the stones. Don’t worry if this is a surprise, gents, we can size it later too. We can now set the stones, add hand engraving, or any other details that we want and before polishing your engagement ring. We give each ring a rigorous quality check and write an appraisal to accompany your diamond using Diamond Certificates or Grading Reports as needed for documentation.
