The following diamond pricing guide will give you a very general guideline about the type of diamond you can expect to find in various price ranges.

$1,000-$2,000: High quality stones in the 0.30-0.57 range, mid- to high-quality stones in the 0.58-0.75 range.

Diamond Quality: Varied

$2,000-$3,500: Exquisite diamonds in the low carat end of this range, but use caution when buying larger stones. The 1-carat stones in this range usually have one or more of the following visible flaws, mediocre color quality, and/or a lower grade cut.
