Art Deco Snowflake Diamond Necklace

The Story

This glittery pendant was inspired by the Art Deco movement—as are so many of our pieces at Christopher Duquet. You often see decorative panels and tiered step-backs in Art Deco architecture, here we designed this piece as a 2 dimensional, stylized representation using some of these characteristics. The sleek angles and smooth borders around each panel serve to create a pattern that mimics the crystalline outline of a drifting snowflake. It’s a perfectly balanced and symmetrical piece with a brilliance that is augmented by intricate prong-set diamonds. This design is so bright and delicate that it’s hard to pick out its individual parts unless you take a closer look.
