Cosmos Diamond Fabrique Necklace

The Story

Over the years, we’ve made some design discoveries that have made Christopher Duquet’s styles what they are today. One of these discoveries came about when we set out to create the Fabrique Collection. We explored using thin wires to build larger structures that were strong, yet delicate and open. This pendant is a perfect example of the intricacy that can be achieved using our signature process.

This particular piece was inspired by structures and patterns found in nature and named Cosmos for the constellation of bezel-set stones that adorn it. The spontaneous round brilliant cut diamonds are arranged over two separate wireframes with complementary patterns that work together to create a kaleidoscopic, three-dimensional shape that changes as it is viewed from different angles. This asymmetrical yet balanced medallion is one inch in diameter and looks beautiful on chains of every length.

Please note that this design is highly customizable and makes a wonderful heirloom gift: For a mother or grandmother, for example, we can use the center stone as her birthstone, and the floating gems to represent her children or grandchildren. This piece pairs nicely with earrings from our Fireworks Collection.
