Sea Green Tourmaline Ring

The Story

Patterns are all around us—in nature and in the manmade structures that come from it. The sea green tourmaline cabochon in this design was chosen to complement the pattern you see on the band—a reversal of our typical design process. Think of throwing a pebble into a lake: the water ripples outward, creating a natural, consequential pattern that will never exist again in exactly the same way. The stylized ripples in the band you see here were sandblasted to contrast and amplify the shine of the diamonds, capturing a crystalline moment in time. This unique tourmaline ring is perfect for a wearer—perhaps an artist or a poet—who loves beauty with an extra layer of meaning.
