Vintage Diamond Engagement Ring with Straight Baguettes and Round Diamond Accents

This ring has been one of our most popular designs. It was inspired by Art Deco designs of the past but has a contemporary proportion that is very appealing. This ring design is unique in that it features a round brilliant diamond center stone that is set in a modified and stylized four prong setting which actually visually squares the stone. The prongs turn the round gemstone into a square shape, and they do it gracefully and in such a way not to be at all obvious. The rest of the ring is also interesting and compelling for its use of a simple straight baguette diamond accent flush set in the thin band. The ring remains delicate and lovely, and at the same time, it is bold and dynamic. The hand engraving on this design finishes this ring in such a nice way that it unifies the different elements of the design and completes the ring perfectly.
