How many gents out there find the world is a little lacking on a fair selection of masculine pieces? We decided it was time to make a change, and are excited to be coming out with some new pieces in the next few months. The first piece Christopher has dreamed up is truly a work of art.
It, in a way, was started as an idea of integrating a gents line into our already flourishing stained glass collection, as I see the piece grow however I’m getting the sense it will take on a life, and a collection, of its own. The goal was to create something new, something unexpected, something totally above and beyond anything we’ve seen in a very long time. With texture and form influenced by Asian art the piece has a very old world mystical feel, something a samurai might wear as an object of protection and spiritual connection. Make no mistake however – this ring is as modern as they come. The piece will be completed with a combination of computer technology and old world hand fabrication, recycled goods and an entirely new use for the sapphire crystals commonly used for watches.
