The Story

Vintage never goes out of style. This vintage design was inspired by the Art Deco movement—one of our muses here at Christopher Duquet. These button earrings feature a round brilliant diamond center stone and a hand-engraved border. Each panel starts out plain. Next, the engraver carves out tiny rosettes and milgrain edges by hand. It’s a meticulous process, but a time-honored technique in jewelry making that we conserve in our studio. The airline border on an octagonal frame creates additional depth that is hard to find in petite styles like this. These artisanal diamond buttons can easily be described as classic diamond studs with a little extra charm.
