The Story

The show-stopping feature of these bezel-set diamond studs is, surprisingly, not the diamonds. Take a closer look. This glossy gold setting is unlike anything you’ve seen before—and that’s because it’s one of our signature designs. This Christopher Duquet original airline bezel setting shows its diamond in a very flattering light: the side profile is open, so the whole profile of the gemstone can be seen. Light and airy in appearance, and feather-light on the earlobe, this type of setting makes each hand-selected gemstone appear larger while maintaining its full brilliance.

Smaller earrings in this style are made with a single curved gold bar to support the diamond; larger versions use two intersecting bars to bear the gemstone. Round brilliant diamonds are pictured here, but this design can be made with other cuts as well. Contact us to learn more.
