We not only discussed my specific design, but the nuances of jewelry design as a whole. Best practices, gemstone grading, the limits of working with precious metals, and so much more. I gained a lot of really practical knowledge and they were always happy to explain the deeper level of whatever topic we happened to be going through. We hardly needed any edits to the designed piece moving through the process because we truly just clicked so well on all of our goals with the design. I also was able to use the loupe to look at the stone and ring in detail – very cool! Oh, and, she said yes. 🙂

My fiancée and I several months later are still thrilled that we chose Christopher Duquet for my engagement ring. We originally came here after seeing a few of their designs online and while we did not originally realize they mostly make custom rings Villi was extremely nice and helpful and walked us through what the process would look like if we decided to go with them. We looked at another place and decided to go back to Christopher Duquet. Villi showed us several stones and I fell in love with one. She drew up a design and was kind enough to offer to hold the stone for a bit while we decided. The whole process went very smoothly, everyone we worked with was very professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to do business with. The price they quoted us was what we paid, with no hidden fees, and the ring came out looking almost exactly like the drawn design. We worked with Christopher to design my engagement ring and had a wonderful experience and a beautiful result.
