The Story

This gorgeous one-of-a-kind opal has a mesmerizing harlequin play of color with various shades of orange, yellow, and green throughout. The play of color in an opal is second to none. You can see the different parts turn on and off as you turn the stone, and the harlequin pattern is considered rare and highly desirable. It’s translucent and iridescent, which demands a minimal setting to fully showcase its fiery display of color. The cabochon is displayed in our signature laser setting using a free-form technique that allows us to highlight the soft curvature of the gemstone with minimal treatment.
